Tuesday in retrospect for #deni11
Let’s look back at what has happened today – our binational meetings first day. We started with the preparations for the think europe motor show, which of course climaxed in a very entertaining presentation session. We witnessed sale pitches, electric cars, european seatbelts, crap car metaphoric, chick magnets…
After an evaluation of that non-formal learning session new groups were formed and sent off to work on digital presentations. Topics: The European Institutions, European History etc. The results of these sessions will be published here tomorrow.

Deutsch-Niederländisches Jugendtreffen startet heute!
Heute beginnt das „think europe“ binationale deutsch-niederländische Jugendtreffen im Europa-Haus Marienberg. Bis Freitag werden wir uns verstärkt mit dem Thema europäische Schuldenkrise auseinandersetzen (Besuch der Frankfurter Börse und Podiumsdiskussion im Geldmuseum der Bundesbank inbegriffen). Die Teilnehmer/innen sind zwischen 16 und 18 Jahren alt. Mal sehen was so kurz vor Weihnachten noch geht und wie die Ergebnisse am Ende aussehen werden. Wir halten Euch natürlich auf dem Laufenden und sagen Euch schon mal was heute passiert. Wir machen natürlich ein bißchen europäisches Warm-Up. Hört sich erstmal langweilig ist aber der totale Wahnsinn.
Wir bauen nämlich Europäische Autos (die Bauteile für diese Autos seht Ihr auf dem Foto) und stellen diese – inkl. entsprechender Werbekampagne – im binationalen Autosalon gebührend vor. Wir halten Euch auf dem laufenden! Und am Nachmittag sind dann digitale Timeline Sessions geplant.
